About AnyTuning

AnyTuning is a free online guitar tuner with a page for every tuning. Pick the tuning you want, press start, allow the microphone, and pluck a string. The tuner shows which string it heard, how many cents you are off, and whether to tighten or loosen the peg. There is no account, no download and nothing to pay.

The tuning happens entirely in your browser. The tuner listens through your microphone while it is on, works out the pitch of the string you plucked, and compares it with the note that string should have. Nothing you play is recorded, stored or sent anywhere: the sound never leaves your device.

Every string also has a play button that sounds its target note, so you can tune by ear even without a microphone. Each tuning page shows the notes for the six strings, a table comparing them with standard tuning, short steps to get there, and answers to common questions.
